  • A "Boat Kitty" contribution is requested from each participant - exluding the Skipper - for their weekly share for expenses such as:
    • onboard food & water
    • 8 Euro per engine hour (fixed price incl. engine service costs)
    • petrol for the outborder of the dinghy
    • camping gas
    • occasional port or mooring fees
(Instead of paying expensive mooring fees - ca. 60-140 Euro - it is possible to find a scenic anchor bay free of charge in most cases/always)
    • 15 Euro per person to wash bedding or bring your own
    • final cleaning of the boat: by the crew or 80 Euro from the boat kitty
To budget for this expense, participants should estimate the Boat Kitty contribution to be around 100 Euro per week. This contribution is always made in cash and immediately upon embarkation. It is then "topped-up" by each participant as needed, during your length of stay onboard. Please note that the actual amount of this contribution may vary, depending upon the number of crew aboard. The boat kitty is taken care of by a crew member.

The Skipper does not contribute to the Boat Kitty.

  • A "Participation Fee" is requested as a contribution to the maintenance, operational & hard standing costs of the yacht.

A fee of around 198 Euro (*) or 220 Euro per week per person is requested by a group that books the full boat in April 2011.

A fee of as from 270 Euro (*) per week per person is requested by a group that books the full boat in summer 2011.

*) Only for students and people who have been sailing with me before. For the exact prices of each individual trip please contact me.
  • Personal & Onshore Expenses: Costs such as air/land travel to and from the yacht, restaurant dining and alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks while ashore are the sole responsibility of each individual.
